Jisoo shared the release on her Instagram on Friday, celebrating the collaboration that fans had been speculating about for months. Within hours, the post began trending worldwide as Blinks (Blackpink fans) and Zayn’s supporters flooded social media with excitement and praise for the unexpected partnership.

The release comes at a busy time for Jisoo. She is currently performing on Blackpink’s “Deadline World Tour” which has sold out stadiums across continents. The tour will continue into early 2026, with stops in Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong.

During these concerts, Jisoo also performs songs from her solo mini album ‘Amortage’, released earlier this year. That project includes tracks like ‘Earthquake’ and ‘Your Love’, which showcase her evolving sound and growing confidence as a solo artist.

Meanwhile, Zayn Malik is gearing up for his first-ever Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM, beginning in January 2026. The seven-night series follows his 2024 album ‘Room Under the Stairs’ and his successful solo tour across the U.S., U.K., and Mexico. Zayn’s recent single, ‘Break Free’, created for the video game ‘Borderlands 4’, also earned praise for its cinematic feel.

The former One Direction member has consistently pushed musical boundaries since his debut solo album ‘Mind of Mine’, which made him the first British male solo artist to debut at No. 1 on both U.K. and U.S. charts.

As for Jisoo, her 2023 solo debut album ‘Me’ broke records, becoming the best-selling album by a solo female artist in South Korea and the first to cross one million sales.
